 Important dates to remember..

August 28, 1963 - Martin Luther King led the March on Washington and gave his "I have a Dream" speech.

March 25, 1965 - Martin Luther King led thousands of nonviolent demonstrators to the steps of the capitol in Montgomery, Alabama.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

December 10, 1964 -  Martin Luther King recieved the Noble Peace Price.

April 4, 1968 - Martin Luther King was assinated. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

August 28, 2011 -  The Martin Luther King Jr. memorial was built and dedciated  for the anniversary of the March on Washington and Dr. King's “I Have a Dream” speech.
